The Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains a website explaining the various visas and policies for entering and staying in Thailand. For some nationalities 15 day tourist visas can be obtained on arrival and may be extended at Bangkok’s immigration office in Soi Suan Phlu. For those coming to Thailand on business you may be required to first obtain a non-immigrant visa. These and other types of visa can be applied for at any of Thailand’s embassies or consular offices throughout the world.
