A superb opening night by the boys to an almost full house. Have a few pics which will post later. These 2 will become very popular very quick. I only saw the first set which was great and will be back to see more!

As it was so full i was stuck right at the back and couldnt get a decent photo. ( i didnt want to get in front of people and spoil the show)
Will be back on their next night to take more pics.

Congratulation Cafe Royal - New stage, new sound system and new entertainment.
Finally sorry for all the guys who missed this first Opening Night. I saw all 3 sets and and enjoy it as every time when El Duo sing.
Great show - full house untill 1am.
Look forward to the next shows.
Thanks Paul for your support - see you for sure on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday there for the next shows. My 8 friends I bring with me are all impressed. They saw EL DUO the first time live. |

| Do they do requests at all? I would love to hear them (well the guy who sings the solo's - not sure of his name) sing Roberta Flack's "The first time ever I saw your face" and I'd also like to hear both of them sing Abba's, Chiquitita. |

Yes they do - Give them your request in time and not expecting they will sing direct this song. But they do.
Best is you send them an e-mail and request the song you like and tell them what day and time you will come. They will make a short anouncement about your request and call you by name and will sing it, if they have it available. If not they will let you too by mail before.

Thanks for your support and as somewhere discussed I am not the Manager of Cafe Royal - Just a long time supporter of these two guys.
Maybe one day they will do a special GayTingTong music request set on Tuesday or Thursday in the future? Paul what you think about this idea?

They do requests every night.
Went last night with my boy intending to show my face and move on to another bar but got hooked and stayed the whole night. They are just fabulous and what a range of songs.
Tom jones - whitney houston - Dusty springfield - earth wind and fire - James Ingram to name just a few - and YES Aunty they do ABBA!!
Dancing queen went down a storm. I will ask them to do that Roberta Flack number, i think it would suit them.
Everyone, i really recommend you go see them perform, i promise you wont be let down. My Thai friend adores them already.

I never seen Cafe Royal so full between 10pm and 1am on a regular business day. Thats a big win for Cafe Royal.
Send them your song request with the day and time you will be there and they will put it in there program. Thanks Paul for your support and I guess we will meet much more often next in Cafe Royal.
